Jacob Schroeder & Chris Macksey
Jacob founded Ascend Consulting in 2017 with the mission of helping small businesses succeed. His experiences, from working in Fortune 500 companies and small businesses to being managing partner of an accounting firm, give him the knowledge to help businesses scale, grow and mature. Jacob currently resides in Bellefontaine, OH and loves meeting other business owners and entrepreneurs. Jacob is a Certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor and a member of the 2017-2018 Intuit Accountants Council. --- Chris is the Operations Manager & Small Business Advisor at Prix Fixe Accounting. Prior to beginning his career with Prix Fixe Accounting, Chris spent most of his life in the hospitality industry, working his way up the ranks in restaurants focusing on local sourcing and sustainability. After years of working in restaurants, he realized that the industry was in the stone-age compared to others, and there was an opportunity to better serve the places he loved by doing more than working on the line. Chris is passionate about helping restaurants thrive by delivering insightful guidance and financial clarity, freeing chefs and restaurateurs to focus on what they’re most passionate about: cultivating unforgettable guest experiences.
