Fourth Annual Criminal Tax Day 2021

The Fourth Annual Criminal Tax Day 2021 is a one-day conference hosted by Green & Sklarz Foundation Trust that provides educational CPE/CLE sessions for CPAs, EAs, and attorneys on the hottest criminal tax topics. Speakers include a number of key IRS leaders as well as nationally recognized criminal tax attorneys. The conference will be broadcast live on June 4, 2021. All proceeds go to charity.

Conference sessions follow a panel discussion format, and session titles include the IRS’s Use of Artificial Intelligence in Criminal Tax Cases, PPP Fraud, NonFilers, Criminal Investigations: Inside the Defense Room and Meeting with the Government, Parallel Civil and Criminal Investigations, and What’s New in Criminal Tax. Damon Rowe, Executive Director of Fraud Enforcement; Hank Kea, Director, Field Collection Operations; and Carolyn Schenk, National Fraud Counsel and Assistant Division Counsel (International); all of the IRS Small Business/Self-Employed (SB/SE) Division, will be participating as speakers and panelists in the conference. In addition, two IRS Special Agents will represent IRS Criminal Investigation. Additional speakers include numerous nationally-recognized criminal tax attorneys as well as an Asst. Conference participants can earn 8 hours CPE/IRS CE or 7 hours CLE. The conference early bird fee is $95 through May 21, 2021 and goes up to $149 for late registration after May 31, 2021. Criminal Tax Day 2021 is organized by the Green & Sklarz Foundation Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization which was formed to support charitable work in the greater New Haven, CT area.
