3. Synergy 2023

Hosted by Thomson Reuters, Synergy is especially tax focused. The conference will be hosted in Colorado this year Nov. 8-11. The 2022 conference included a “Future of Professionals” panel, Thomson Reuters own head of legal and tax, as well as other licensed professionals offering training on technology and technical updates.

4. NATP’s Taxposium

Hosted in San Antonio, July 24-26, this is another conference aimed specifically at tax professionals. With 40-plus speakers and more than 50 exhibitors this conference combines exactly what tax professionals need. Prior year topics include responding to IRS notices, creating financial plans for taxpayers, and tax planning strategies.

5. AICPA & CIMA National Tax Conference

Hosted in Washington, DC, this Nov. 13-14 this conference seeks to connect tax professionals directly with IRS trainers to get you the answers you need for best serving your clients. This conference also hosts some of the most specific technical topics to choose from including everything from return type focuses to estate planning, digital asset taxation and more.
